Founder, Young Lion Training

Rebecca Lohnes, MS, CDBC, ACCBC was the Behavior and Training Manager at Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester for 9 years until she left to form Young Lion Training and Behavior, LLC.. She is available for behavior consultations for both dogs and cats. While at Lollypop, in addition to working with the people and animals of the shelter, she taught dog training classes and lectures in the community on cat and dog behavior. She believes in using positive reinforcement and force-free methods to repair, preserve, and enhance the human-animal bond. Rebecca is certified through the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants in the dog and cat divisions. She has degrees from Yale University (BS 2005) and Cornell University (MSc 2010).
