Jackie Noble

Nursery Manager, San Diego Humane Society

As Nursery Manager for San Diego Humane Society’s 24 Hour Kitten Nursery, Jackie Noble is responsible for staff management and training, case review and daily rounds, protocol development and implementation, budget oversight, communication and marketing tasks specific to the Kitten Nursery, volunteer engagement and building relationships throughout the animal welfare community, and sharing Kitten Nursery best practices. Jackie is responsible for overseeing year-round nursery caregivers, seasonal staff, and all volunteers who participate in the nursery and foster programs. Jackie earned her Master’s in Zoology from the University of Glasgow in 2009 and joined the San Diego Humane Society staff in 2010. While pursuing her degree, she studied animal nutrition, behavior, and pathology, all of which apply directly to the work being done at the Kitten Nursery.
